California Dogs

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone for your support. All three little guys have been adopted are now in wonderful new forever homes.

We are still looking for foster homes for small dogs and puppies, if you are interested, please email info@the greenroompetlounge.com and we will send you a Foster Application.

California had some nasty wild fires this year, and it is a really sad time when people all over the US are forced to sell their homes or are losing their homes due to the high interest rates on mortgages.

The shelters are filling up. And time for each dog runs out very quickly. We hope that in the next few months, we can at least save some of them, and find new wonderful homes! Each of the dogs for adoption have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, first & second vaccinations, dewormed, flea controlled. A 6 week Insurance Plan compliments of PetPlan Insurance.

BOODA the brindle chihuahua, he is so timid and scared, but sweet as can be:

A never-ending thank you to those who transport, and spend all their time saving these beautiful babies!!

If you are interested in adopting, please contact us for an adoption application. A home visit is mandatory after the application has been reviewed. Please remember that we try to choose the best home for each individual doggie personality, submitting an application does not guarantee that you will receive the dog dog you saw.

He enjoys the other dogs, especially when he gets to play with another little boy, doesn’t seem to mind children and when he’s on his own, quite likes our cats. He his still a very young dog and is incredibly smart. He is just waiting for his family to come and get him. We at the Green Room are very pleased to announce that B-Boy found his special family. B-Boy was adopted last week by a wonderful family that will take amazing care of our boy.

Here is B-Boy playing with his new brother.

Having a nap after a hard days play.

How could anyone not fall in love with this face?

And the picture that makes us at The Green Room cry:

Our precious B standing on his own!! This is something that we were told may never happen. We worked really hard to get B strong enough to use his legs again and now all of that work has paid off. With continued rehabilitation, there is hope that B-Boy may be able to walk again.

We are so very grateful that B has found a family just as special as he is!!  Bless you Sean & Serena for opening your home to allow B to experience what he may have never had – HIS OWN FAMILY!!

He would have never been so happy if it wasn’t for Yuana’s open heart,  Michiko & Seigo’s giving B-Boy the best temporary home he could have ever asked for, and to all those in the community for donating towards B-Boy’s care, rehabilitation, and his new radio flyer!!

Harry is a Papillion Spaniel cross and is still quite a young dog.

Harry is full of energy and loves to play but his favorite activity is getting to sit on someone’s lap for a cuddle. He will make an amazing family dog. He is a bit leary of young children, gets along well with other dogs, but does like to bark at the cats.

If you would like to give Harry his forever home, please fill out an Adoption Application  HARRY HAS BEEN ADOPTED
